From the moment I first stepped onto the 1st International School of Ostrava grounds, I knew it was the right place for me. It has everything one could wish for – a pleasant, inspirational environment; kind, welcoming staff; thoughtful and talented students. After ten years spent abroad, I was a bit apprehensive about returning to my home city. Luckily, ISO took all my fears away. It is a cosmopolitan place with a plethora of nationalities, languages and cultures, a place where no day is like another because there’s always something going on, there’s always something interesting to look forward to.
