PBL – ART AND CULTURE

Our Driving Question for this week is

In what ways does art and culture serve as a mirror to human values, challenges, and aspirations and how can it inspire change within our community?

We want to work project-based, we ask students to work together in project teams on a selected topic and create a specific, unique output – we do not set limits to creativity, it can really be anything – a performance, a theater play, a song, a dance, a parade, some paintings, a video, a talk show and more…

Every day they progress towards their goal, they research, discover, experiment, work, put things into context, work with sources, experience simulations and create.

On Friday, we will have 13 exceptional performances waiting for us and we are really looking forward to it.

We keep on keeping on! The creation of final outputs and fine tuning of details to fulfill goals and specific inquisitive questions is already underway. We paint, animate, compose, sing, dance, code, create, repair, film, and ‚dress rehearse‘. Sometimes everything works, sometimes we learn from mistakes. Great job by all the teams!!!

​​The results of our work very much speaks for itself! Today’s final show was a testament to how our talented and creative students can create amazing things. We are extremely proud of them and we enjoyed the whole final show very much.
