GRADE 10 PLANETARIUM TRIP | 2009-12-07

On Wednesday November 5 the students of Grade 10 went on a field trip to the Planetarium. At the time, the students were studying plate tectonics and the trip was planned to view a film about volcanoes, earthquakes and tsunamis. Unfortunately we were told on the day of the trip that the film we had planned to see would not be available to see until January. So instead of a film about plate tectonics we watched a film about the 4 states of matter: liquid, solid, gas, and plasma. Because we had studied the earth in the solar system and were getting ready to study earth’s spheres, the students were able to see connections between the film and their studies in Geography.
