General Information
The International Primary School provides English-language education in all subjects to the ex-pat and Czech communities of Ostrava.
Staff come from around the world and are predominantly native-English speakers.
The vast majority of the teaching staff are qualified, certified teachers from their countries of origin.
Students largely follow the National Curriculum of England and Wales as well as the International Primary Curriculum. Czech language is provided for native Czechs, and as an option for ex-pats. Among the other languages currently being taught at the school are French, Spanish, and German.
A special emphasis is placed on ESL (English as a Second Language) Teaching and Mathematics.
